It’s school time, y’all. And we all know what that means – earlier bed times, earlier wake times, more strict routines, making daily lunches and homework!
While our son is only starting a more rigid pre-K program, the Tuten’s son is taking the leap into kindergarten! It’s an exciting time for us all, but I think Lainey and I are both a bit nervous.
I’m nervous about Hudson’s transition and all the dates I just added to my calendar from his annual syllabus. And if I had to guess, I think Lainey is most nervous about her new early morning routines with a newborn and an almost three year old in tow.
Any advice for us?
How can we make our mornings calm and efficient?
How can we make our evenings calm and efficient?
And most importantly, how can we make Hudson and Harrison feel confident in their new adventures?
Please pray for us and our boys. Pray they use their manners and are respectful, pray they make new friends, make wise decisions and make the transition without a hitch! Pray we get them to school on time (smiles). Pray we offer encouraging words to build their confidence and pray we continue to raise strong, loving boys who leave a mark on this world in their very own ways.
